This is a text adventure chronicling the attempt of a young but determined girl to capture this reward. Armed with religious artifacts, sticks of wood, garlic, a refreshing drink, stylish clothing and a handy handguide1 for beginning monster hunters, she is ready for some serious vampire bashing. Guided by your wit, her actions will irrevocably decide the fate of Hiekkis... and herself.
As per today's interactive fiction trends, Vampire Hunter Girl emphasises storytelling rather than tricky puzzles. You will not be frustrated by sudden deaths or get hopelessly stuck. Multiple endings are naturally present. On the way you will come face to face with terrible monsters, fight many of them, make new friends, make new enemies, discover a secret or two, and be forced into some difficult choices...
A demo version is available! Seven rooms to explore, although the balcony is not properly furnished. Over sixty mobjects to examine and interact with. See if you can find the little brown imp, who is hiding, traumatised by the previous monster hunter! This demo version is not finishable as such, but should offer fun for at least ten minutes. The game events and objects are all in easy-to-edit .TXT files.
